Halloween barely came to an end yesterday and Starbucks wasted no time in releasing their "Merry Strawberry Cake" Frappuccino and "Merry Strawberry Cake" Hot Milk beverage on November 1st bringing those winter holiday vibes. Strawberry cakes are known to be Japan’s signature Christmas cake using the red and white colors to symbolize luck for the new year. By placing all these festivities in one cup, we were able to get our slice of goodness on the go.
The Merry Strawberry Cake Frappuccino comes in only q tall size for 590 yen. You can see the layers of the cake-like drink through its clear decorative cup. The base starts with cake crumbles at the very bottom toppled underneath fresh strawberries, cake milk, fresh cream, and dried strawberry bits. It's a cold drink that gave us warm holiday feels.
The Merry Strawberry Cake Milk comes hot in sizes short to venti ranging from 450-570 yen. Similar to the frappucino, it tasted like all the ingredients in the cold drink but served hot and creamy. The bits of dried strawberry at the top paired with the latte give it the perfect sweet boost.
Starbucks definitley sleigh'd this year. What better way to start celebrating the holidays as early as possible aside from asking Alexa blasting Mariah Carey "All I Want For Christmas"? Get your toasty hands on one before sales end November 21st.
